"You ever stop and think, wow, this is really fascinating, alien planet, fun colors, but also it resembles piss?" Jim is not nearly drunk enough for this kind of introspection but the water they're standing near is dark yellow and supposedly safe to stand in. He nudges at the thinly lapping waves with his bare toes and shoots a grin over his shoulder.

"You say the most eloquent and romantic things after a few drinks darlin'." Leonard chuckles soft and amused shaking his head. A day or two worth of stubble on his face. He walks up to Jim and takes the blond's hand enjoying the warmth and the sand under his feet.

"That's because I am, in fact, naturally eloquent and romantic. You just don't take the time to appreciate my higher levels of elocution and courtly ways like you should." Jim squeezes Bones hand. The water is warm. (Like pee. He isn't going to get over it. He's just not.)

"Should we?"

"That's not what you were saying last night..." Bones murmurs pressing a kiss to Jim's neck. "We could up to you, but if you don't want too, we can do something else." He chuckles moving ankle deep into the water.

Jim laughs and shoves Bones deeper into the water, not once letting go of that hand. “See, I don’t remember a lot of talking happening. Mouth was a little preoccupied.”

Bones lets out an amused laugh as Jim pushes him pulling the other man with him and to his chest. "Again so romantic." He says wrapping his arms around the captain and kissing him.

"It's better to spread it out." Jim grinned against Bone's lips. "I don't want you to accuse me of becoming a sap in my old age."
